Tools & Resources

Please list any tools, ideas, resources etc. you can think of that may be of use or interest to other Young Anglican Women. If you would like a link to appear on the right menu, this can be done by clicking on ‘Blogroll’ on the dashboard. You can also include it in a post and we will watch for links and try to add them to the link list as we see them.

  1. The easiest way to add pictures to this blog is the following:

Go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/younganglicanwomen and join the group (if you do not already have a flickr.com account you can create one for free).

Once you have joined, add your pictures to the group ‘pool’ and they will begin showing up in the bottom right of this blog.

If you can figure out an easy way to post them directly to the blog please share the instructions here.

  2. More from Sarah Eagle Heart on adding pictures to the group pool on flickr.com:

“after you upload a photo and click on it… then there are tools at the top… it says Send to Group.

I uploaded a ton of photos! Will try to work on more this week!”

  4. More on adding pictures to the blog. If you want a picture to appear in your article:

-In the writing post mode, in the light blue box above the larger tool bar (which is above the area you type in), it says “add media”

-mouse over the first icon and it will say “add an image” click on that icon

then you can simply upload a picture, name it and choose the size and layout.
